Since 1964, The Winter Construction Company and its operating divisions of Winter Construction and Winter Environmental has been proud to do business in Atlanta. It’s more than just headquarters: it’s home. We are invested in the health and vitality of our community and the people in it. As nonprofits grapple with increased demand and decreased funding, it is more important than ever for us to give back. In 2004, we held our first annual golf tournament in support of Special Olympics Georgia.
To date, we have raised over $750,000 for this incredible organization, and our employees are committed volunteers at the Summer and Winter Games. Those who have attended a Special Olympics event know that “giving back” is a misnomer.
“Our first job is to be good people. Our relationship with Special Olympics Georgia is important to us. We made an intentional choice to choose one charity and go deep with them. We wanted SOGA to know that year after year we would be there for them − that they could count on us. As a company, we work hard to uphold that ideal in all we do.”
