Winter Environmental has been providing Arcadis with on-call asbestos abatement and mold remediation services at numerous Bank of America locations in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Examples of the various project scopes are:
- Removal of mold-impacted drywall in banking offices and centers
- Asbestos abatement of roofing materials in conjunction with the re-roofing of the branch
- Asbestos abatement of regulated floor tile and mastic
- Asbestos abatement of window caulk and drywall prior to planned renovation
- Emergency IAQ services.
To date, all projects have been performed after regular business hours or on non-operating days in order to provide the least disruption to operations. Most of the projects were scheduled with little notice, due to coordination issues between the bank and their general contractors, allowing Winter Environmental and Arcadis minimal time to plan and mobilize. Also, coordination with other trades was necessary in order to provide replacement building components for impacted areas.
