For more than 18 years, Winter Environmental has offered and executed our complete services as part of an ongoing on-call contract. Project scopes have included the abatement of asbestos, mold, and lead and other contaminated materials; flight line striping removal; select and structural demolition; dismantling of building components; excavation, transportation, and disposal of contaminated soil; liner system installation to mitigate environmental contamination migration; infectious disease decontamination; specialized mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation; and miscellaneous environmental-civil projects.

Challenges involved with the execution of this work include working at elevated heights and ensuring that all work is performed without disruption to plant activities at the occupied facility. Detailed coordination with plant personnel is essential to ensure that all safety standards are achieved in accordance with the facility’s policies. Task orders often require the execution of work on second and/or third shifts, and weekends and/or holidays to support mission-critical production activities.
