In 2022, Winter Environmental installed a methane mitigation system at a local city golf course. The work required careful planning to protect active fairways and greens while completing deep subsurface construction.
The scope included installing twenty ventilation wells, each reaching depths of up to thirty five feet, and connecting them with horizontal piping to a central methane mitigation duct fan. The fan system was housed in a custom built wooden kiosk designed to blend with the course environment. Winter Environmental completed the installation without disrupting course operations, maintaining both the function and appearance of the grounds throughout the project.
